We’re back with another Character Jam, this time bringing out the recently-released Forbidden Lands RPG, from Free League! Listen as we drink George Dickel Rye, and attempt to make characters for a new game. The Mad Marquis returns as well!
We’ve already jammed one of Free League’s games back in our third CJ episode (#3: Tales From the Loop), and we have more news on that front coming very soon, so stick around in the coming weeks for some awesome new developments. Forbidden Lands takes their same “success through risk” gaming engine and jams it full of old school inspiration and flavor. The result is a wonderfully evocative fantasy game world, clearly inspired by the works of Tolkien and Vance, but bold enough to bring some new approaches to those older tropes.
