In this issue of the OCC Spotlight series, we’re looking at another core (and iconic) Rifts character class, the Psi-Hound – better known as the “Dog Boy.” This is NPC’s favorite class, hands down, across the entire Rifts catalog. Continuing from our last episode, this time we’re taking a deeper look into the Nightbane OCC from the RPG of the same name. This is one of the most unique and widely-varying character classes in the entire Palladium catalog. We continue our new OCC Spotlight series by dropping to the opposite extreme of the power spectrum, taking a look at one of NPC’s favorite classes, the Vagabond. We discuss how “less can be a whole lot more” when Role-Playing is the name of the game, and dive into our thoughts on the subject of many a great nerd-fight: class balance in Palladium games.
This episode is the first in a new series of recurring discussions, wherein we highlight different “Occupational Character Classes” from the entire Palladium Megaverse. What better way to kick this series off than by looking at our show’s namesake: Palladium’s single most iconic class, the Glitter Boy! What is a Glitter Boy, you ask? Listen and find out!
