Hey hey hey, lookee here! It’s our inaugural post! We’re the Glitterbois, a pair of long-time Palladium RPG fans who have been gushing about these games for so long that we finally put our money where our mouths are and made this podcast. Welcome to our humble fan podcast for Palladium Books, and all of their wonderful game worlds. In this opening episode, we talk briefly about who we are, and why we’re finally making this podcast happen.

In this ongoing adventure, we will be playing through the brand spanking new Out of Time adventure series, which was released as an early bonus to the backers of Free League’s recent Kickstarter for the game’s follow-up campaign, Things from the Flood. Inspired by the artwork of Simon Stålenhag, the works of Steven King, and more than a little Stranger Things throw into the mix, Tales from the Loop takes us to a 1980s that never was, filled with weird robots, mysterious plots, and the bizarre side effects of living in a town with a state of the art particle accelerator. So join us for an advance look into the new book, and stick around for the sometimes-deep but often-hilarious adventures in our own techno-magical version of Klamath Falls Oregon, 1986.
Back when JJ, DXG, and I started this variety show project, one of the ideas that we had for filling time after recording an episode was to keep drinking while trying to make characters for the many different RPGs sitting on my gaming shelf. We called these “Character Jams” and they started pretty early on in our show. While we’ve had a blast each time we’ve recorded one of these Jams, and occasionally joked about how fun a campaign with the characters would be, we never had actual intentions of taking them any further than the char-gen process. After all, there are so many games to jam on, and we wanna get to all of them someday, right?
