I am ridiculously excited today to finally get to publicly announce the launch of not just the Breakfast Puppies podcasting group website, but also to reveal the inauguration of our flagship show, Bikers, Dice, and Bars!
Coming to you straight from the drunken wildlands of Portland, Oregon (USA), Bikers, Dice, and Bars takes you out to the road with discussions on the many intersecting themes of bike life, geek culture, and dive-bar appreciation. Join NPC, Just Jacob, and Dr. Xander Gerrymander every two weeks as they talk about their experiences with these topics both in Portland and beyond, and stick around afterward for special downtime content such as Ride Reports, Game Sessions, Dive Bar Reviews, Industry Interviews, and more!
We’ve been working pretty hard since the beginning of the year to get this going, and are now launching with three episodes ready to listen to from the start. BDaB will update bright and early every other Monday morning, and on the weeks in-between we’ll be running bonus content on topics bikey, nerdy, and drinky, and all things in-between. This show has been a lot of fun to host and produce, and we hope you find it an equally enjoyable listen.
“But wait, there’s more!” Bikers, Dice, and Bars is only the beginning for the Breakfast Puppies. We have one more mostly-ready show planned to launch either late March or early-to-mid-April, and yet one more planned for the end of the year. Like BDaB, both focus heavily on geek-centric subjects, each with their own unique twists. With BDaB on the airwaves today and two more shows already a-brewing, I’m hoping that 2018 will be a fantastic first year for us here in Podcastlandia.
